Carlene Charlemagne
Associate Therapist
I believe therapy is a space where individuals, couples, and families can come together to heal, reconnect, and grow stronger. Relationships are at the heart of who we are, and I am passionate about helping people build healthier, more fulfilling connections with themselves and with the ones they love. As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my work is centered on supporting clients through challenges such as communication struggles, conflict, life transitions, anxiety, and stress—always with the goal of fostering resilience, understanding, and deeper connection.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from models like the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and family systems work, while also integrating faith and holistic tools when clients desire it. Every individual and relationship is unique, so I tailor therapy to meet your specific needs—whether that means addressing past pain, developing new coping skills, or creating a roadmap for a healthier relationship future.
What inspires me most about this work is seeing the transformation that happens when couples and families realize they don’t have to navigate struggles alone. Together, we can create a safe, supportive space where healing begins, hope is restored, and relationships are strengthened.
Outside of therapy, I value family, connection, and joy in my own life. I bring that same energy into the therapy room, believing that growth is always possible and that even in the most difficult seasons, relationships can be renewed and rebuilt.

What can clients expect in a session with you?
Clients can expect a warm, empathic, and supportive space where they feel safe to share their feelings and experiences. My tone is compassionate and encouraging, and I focus on building genuine connections so that therapy feels both comfortable and meaningful.
How do you incorporate faith or spirituality into your sessions?
I follow my client’s lead when it comes to incorporating faith. If faith is important to them, I integrate biblical principles and scripture into our work together, using faith as a source of strength, hope, and healing. I strive to make the therapeutic space one where clients can honor both their emotional and spiritual journeys.
What inspires you about the work you do?
I am inspired by the resilience of individuals and couples who choose to seek support and fight for healthier lives and relationships. From the beginning of my journey, I’ve been passionate about keeping families together. I believe many marriages and relationships struggle simply because couples didn’t have the tools or support they needed. Being able to walk alongside my clients, offering guidance and practical strategies, is my way of helping them heal, grow, and build lasting connections.
What makes your approach different?
My approach blends evidence-based strategies with empathy, faith, and creativity. I focus not only on resolving challenges but also on helping clients discover new strengths and ways of connecting with themselves and others. Clients often share that they appreciate the balance I bring between practical tools and emotional support. My goal is to create a space that feels safe, empowering, and uniquely designed for their growth and healing.
